Lord as we reflect on Mothers in this month and the role of women in the Kingdom of God, we thank you that you have gifted women for service to you. Lord, we thank you for praying women and for women who are bringing up children in you. Lord, we pray for those mothers who have seen their children walk away from you. We pray for them as they labor in prayer for their children and the children of others who deny you as Lord and have gone their own way. Help them, Lord to remember that you promised that the seed of the righteous would not be forsaken. Thank you, Lord that we are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. Fill our women with your Spirit. Help them to stand for you. Help us to support and encourage our widows and senior women. We pray Lord also for our younger women. Teach them how to serve you. Help us know as a congregation how to support them. In Jesus Name. Amen
