FAMILY & FRIENDS DAY 2010 |
Lake Providence is requesting adult volunteers to assist in general support activities during our annual Family & Friends Day celebration on Saturday, June 26th from 10:00 a.m. -4 :00 p.m. If you are available and have a couple of hours, please sign-up this Sunday at the Welcome Center. Questions can be left with the church office and one of the event coordinators will get back with you. If you are unable to volunteer, please come out and experience the joy of Christian fellowship! |

MEN'S PRAYER BREAKFAST |
Attention Men Young Men and Boys...The 2010 Men's Prayer Breakfast will be held on Saturday, June 5th at 8:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The theme is, "Becoming a Living Sacrifice." Donations are $15 and will be accepted on this Sunday, May 9th following the 8 and 11 a.m. services. There is no cost for young men and boys (ages 12 and under). Please stop by the designated table in the vestibule for additional information. |

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL |
Vacation Bible School will be held on Monday, June 21st -25th from 6-8 p.m. The theme is "Jungle Journey; Exploring the Nature of God." Teacher and student sign-up will begin on next Sunday, May 16th thru June 13th. A Teacher's Workshop will be held on Thursday, June 10th from 6:30 -8 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. GRADUATION RECOGNITION |
We will honor our 2010 High School and College Graduates on Sunday, June 13th during the 11 a.m. service. If you would like to participate in the ceremony, registration forms are available at the Welcome Center. The deadline is this Sunday, June 6th. |

The economy has left our Furniture Closet nearly empty again! Your unwanted/not needed functional furniture can bless someone less fortunate through this ministry. We are in dire need of mattresses and beds! Please call (834-5838)to schedule a pick-up. Volunteers are always welcome and needed! |

The Boys To Men Fishers of Men Outing is Back!!! It is open to all ages (8-75). The event will be held on Saturday, June 12th from 7 a.m. -5 p.m. at Long Hunter State Park (Couchville Lake Shelter #1). You are invited to come out and a have a great day fishing on the water! |
